After the chaos of last week, we have a nice boring week ahead of us thank goodness. We're all feeling a bit bleugh at the minute to be honest. Mr Frugal is awaiting an MRI scan for his vertigo as the specialist says his symptoms are much worse than they would expect and he's also due to go for an x-ray and an ultrasound as the Dr thinks he also has kidney stones. As well as that, I have a bad back from where I slipped down the stairs yesterday and poor Miss Frugal has been suffering a little lately with her abdominal migraines. This week is a bit of a funny week as we had friends round on Sunday night for fireworks, then we were away in London until last night. We have a birthday party to go to on Friday and we're out on Saturday as well! I have no idea what I'm doing from one day to the next and even though I wrote this post on Sunday afternoon, I forgot to publish it which is why I'm sharing my meal plan with you half way through the week! Cupcake Sunday – Mini double chocolate chip cupcakes with popping candy….
This year, for the first year ever, we're having a few fireworks at home rather than going to a public firework display and I'm actually quite excited. A few friends are coming round tonight with their kids and I'm hoping the rain stays away so we can have a good night. I'm loving that it's half term this week and I'm off work until Thursday which means I not only have time to spend with the kids, I also have the luxury of having enough time to plan and make our meals without having to stress about who needs to be where and on what day. Today is a bit of a special Cupcake Sunday because it's a 99p Stores edition ;-) You might remember that I visited my local 99p Stores shop a little while ago and was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of products they stock.
