If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know I’m a big fan of Too Good To Go – the clever little app that lets you rescue perfectly good food from going in the bin, all while saving a few pounds at the same time. It’s basically a win-win for your wallet and the planet. For anyone who hasn’t come across it before, here’s how it works.. Local cafés, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets list any unsold food on the app at the end of each day and you can browse the app to see what’s nearby. You pick what you want, pay through the app (usually just a few pounds), and then pop along at the … [Read more...]

Nine things you can make in the Airfryer that might surprise you….
I know I'm late to the Airfryer party but since we got our Ninja Pro last month, I've been experimenting with the different things that I can cook in there and today, I thought I'd share some of the things that I've been cooking in there. One of my most popular posts at the moment is 'Nine things that you can make in the slow cooker that might surprise you' so I thought I'd do a similar post about Airfryers because in my limited time of having one, I've realised just how versatile they can be. I have a few accessories that I use with my air fryer - I bought them when I … [Read more...]

Eight ways to use up Leftover Rice {Safely}…
I’ve got another post to share today from my Love Your Leftovers series and this time it’s all about using up leftover rice. Whether you’ve accidentally cooked too much (this is me every time 😂) or you’ve got a bowl left … [Read more...]
The best meals to take to work in a flask….
Taking your own lunch to work in a flask isn’t just a great way to save money, it also means you can eat something hot and comforting instead of spending a fortune in the canteen, grabbing another meal deal or ordering a take-away. I've had a small pink chilly's flask for a few years now and have used it sporadically over the colder months for my lunches at work but I don't use it as well as I could and get bored easily as I tend to just put soup in it and you can only eat so much soup, right? It also only keeps food hot for 4-6 hours so I can pop food in it at 8am before I leave … [Read more...]
