Big Momma Challenge….
Today is the last day of my two weeks off and I am strangely looking forward to work tomorrow, I always feel like this at the end of some time off because I like to get back in to our normal routine. I've decided to start Slimming World tomorrow and I've seen that a few bloggers are joining in NotSupermum's Big Momma Challenge so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and join in aswell. I've got a fair bit to lose so I am going to take it slowly and not set myself any huge targets. Sunday - Mince and Dumplings with Roast Potatoes, carrots, peas and brocolli. I haven't decided yet if I'm … [Read more...]
What’s on your doorstep….
I am so tired. I've been off work for the past two weeks and rather than relax and take it easy, I've been busy trying to pack as much fun as possible in to our 'staycation'. It's so rare that we're all of work / school at the same time that we really wanted to make the most of it. As well as these trips, we've been exploring our own area quite a bit and discovering new places to visit nearer to home.We live in an area of the North … [Read more...]

She's at the age now where she is starting to read independently and she will happily sit quietly in the corner reading to herself and she's starting to enjoy the books that she reads - at the moment she's reading The Twits and it's quite funny to watch her reading, every now and again she'll start to laugh or she'll look really surprised at something she's … [Read more...]
We’re back, did you miss us…?
We're back from our weekend at Haggerston Castle feeling refreshed and chilled out and ready for anything! Yeah right - two kids, two adults and a visiting teen in a caravan does not make a relaxing break lol. To be honest though, even if it wasn't relaxing, we had a fantastic time and I'll tell you all about it soon (I bet you can't wait now, can you?).We got back home at dinnertime today and after a quick nap (the kids, not me), we were ready to pop to the shops to get a bit of food shopping in and to spend our Tesco vouchers on a treat each for the kids as they were so good this … [Read more...]
