Miss Frugal came home yesterday dying to try out the recipe she had learned that day in her 'fun with food' class at school.   She's really enjoying the classes and after her Cartwheel Sandwiches turned out to be such a success last week, I decided to let her show us how to make pasta salad by cooking it for us all for tea. First of all you cook and cool some pasta and put it into a big bowl. Chop up some cucumber,tomato and red onion and add them to the bowl. Miss Frugal is now officially learning to cook (so she tells me) in a weekly 'Fun with Food' class that she's taking at school.  Apparently she had the chance to grow stuff, sew stuff, cut stuff or cook stuff so she chose to cook stuff cos she is already good at that (her words not mine ;-))  For the last few weeks she has been coming home with some rather bizarre recipes and this week was no exception!
