One of the most popular posts on my blog has always been my 50 ways to save money post and I love some of the lovely emails that you guys have sent me after you've read it and started to implement some of the ways to save into your lives. This morning, as I'm trying to sort some things out for a car boot sale this weekend, it occurred to me that I've never shared all my posts about the various different ways to make money as a round up in one post so rather than keep sorting junk as I should be doing, I thought I'd do that instead. ;-) I'm pretty sure it's not going to be as impressive … [Read more...]

23 ways to save money on days out this Summer….
Summer can be an expensive time, but it doesn't have to be! There's lots of ways to save money on days out this Summer, it just means being a bit organised and planning ahead a little more than you might usually.... Find cheap or free days out in your area: Check your local museums websites to see what they have going on as they usually have some great activities on throughout the Summer that cost next to nothing. Review: Vrissaki Beach Hotel, Protaras….
First of all, I just want to put it out there that I paid for our holiday to the Vrissaki Beach Hotel and until I got home and thought about what a great time we'd had, I had no intention of reviewing our stay or the hotel itself so this might seem like a bit of an odd review as I probably don't have photos to match everything that I'm going to say! ;-) (Can you tell I'm not a travel blogger?) We booked our holiday to the Vrissaki Beach Hotel in Protaras through First Choice holidays and paid £546 in total for the two of us for four nights. I didn't specifically want to go to Cyprus … [Read more...]
Have fun next week with these half term family fun ideas….
I don't know about you but I'm finding that keeping the kids occupied (and off their electronics) is becoming a bit of a challenge lately. But next week is half term and for the first time in about a month none of us are poorly (touch wood) so I'm hopeful that we can have lots of family fun together. We don't have much money though … [Read more...]
