The first title I gave this post was 'How a mason jar salad is going to change your life' but I thought you might think I was exaggerating a bit so I toned it down a bit but actually I still stand by my first one. Honestly, if your days are as busy as mine and you want to have quick, tasty and healthy meals for your lunch then you really should consider learning how to make a mason jar salad. A mason jar salad will last up to five days in the fridge if you make it right and store it properly so in theory, you could meal prep your lunches for most of the week on a Sunday … [Read more...]
Nana’s Traditional English Trifle….
I first published my traditional English trifle post a good few years ago now but with the jubilee celebrations approaching, I thought I'd reshare it because my lovely Nana would have been over the moon with me sharing her with you all!I am planning to make it myself for the Jubilee celebrations so I'll update the photos when I do (if I remember)! My Nana used to pride herself on two things - her split pea soup and her trifles! Have a Reset Day and reset your life…
A reset day is a day that you take to basically get your life in order, sort out those niggly problems that have been annoying you and tackle any jobs that you've been putting off.
