Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during the previous week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 1) I'm officially back at work now after my operation and I'm so excited to have that routine back in my life as I genuinely do enjoy my job and I whilst I love the odd week off work for annual leave where the inevitable lack of routine is welcome, an extended period with no routine or focus is not good for me so this last couple of weeks especially, … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during the previous week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! It's been a good while since I've shared these posts weekly and I've properly missed it, especially as so much has been going on in my life while I've been away from my laptop. Miss Frugal was a good little blog caretaker for me while I wasn't very well - replying to emails, sharing some posts from the archives and updating and sharing a few … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did when we moved house….
We bought a project house. It's live-able but it definitely needs work and we have so many plans to turn it into our home. Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during the previous week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! So first up, I know that these weekly posts have been very few and far between for the last few months and there's a very good reason for that. I've not been very well and I've needed some time off work while I waited for an operation - nothing too dramatic but enough that it's wiped me out for a little while. I thought it was time to start them … [Read more...]

It sounded complicated, a bit intimidating, and definitely not aimed at normal family life. But it turns out, I was wrong. A VPN is actually one of those quiet, behind-the-scenes things that just makes being online a bit easier and a bit safer, especially when you’ve got kids, multiple devices and everyone doing different things at the same time. I have used VPN mobile for years now and have only ever used a company called Surfshark but … [Read more...]
