Even though Miss Frugal is still undecided about whether or not she actually believes in Santa, we've been writing our annual letters to Santa this afternoon. Actually, for someone who might not be a believer, she's asked for enough things - an Ipod touch, a buggy, a till and Hello Kitty 'stuff', whatever that may be! That's Santa in his sleigh in case you weren't sure....I love Master Frugal's, he's asked for a Nintendo 3DS and a camera so nothing too expensive there then ;-)We use the Royal Mail Santa Service to send our letters to Santa - As long as your child's letter states their … [Read more...]

My Proudest Moment….
After school tonight Miss Frugal came home and asked if we could tidy her room together, which is a mini miracle in itself although it isn't the reason for the title of the post. The reason for my pride this evening are these few surprise discoveries (please bear in mind that I am a stationary-aholic myself): 8 pencil cases filled with all sorts of lovely pens, pencils and other stationery - I had no idea she had so many! A special drawer dedicated to notebooks - 26 in total. A pencil case filled with buttons that she's found when we're out and about. And then there's … [Read more...]

Let this be a lesson to you all….
Since I started blogging my obsession with taking photos of everything has got worse - I'm rarely without a camera these days and my poor kids are used to me taking photos of everything that we do or making them do something again as I didn't get a good picture the first time. Even the poor puppy is used to me pointing the camera at him everytime he does something cute, although he's not as willing to do something again for me just for the sake of a good picture!I take so many photos that I rarely have time to organise them into any sort of order, all I do is transfer them to my laptop … [Read more...]
