You might think that because I have a week off work, I’m going to try out some new and exciting recipes and spend more time in the kitchen preparing our meals.
But you’d be wrong 😉
I plan to put as little effort as possible into everything this week as I’m going to be mostly sitting on my settee with a cuppa watching daytime TV and having as many Nana-naps as I can squeeze in while the kids are at school.
So his week’s meal plan will be brought to you with the magic of my trusty slow cooker and will involve little or no imagination, creativity of effort….
Slow cooked Brisket cooked with potatoes. Mr Frugal may make some Yorkshire puds and there may or may not be some carrots or broccoli to go with it.
Barbecue pulled pork in Sandwiches with coleslaw and curly fries.
Slow cooker chicken curry except I think we might go wild and make it with turkey and some sweet potato cubes instead of chicken!
Not too sure about Friday as we’re supposed to be going away but I’m trying to re-schedule.
So there you have it, my lazy meal plan.
