When I heard about the lovely Karin's idea of #EmbraceHappy I signed up straight away as it sounded like a great idea - finding happiness every day! Then I got busy and didn't really have the chance to join in as much as I'd like to but last weekend, I realised that I really do want to join in more because I think I need it. It's April already and between work, school and various bugs that we've all been suffering with, I don't feel like I've achieved very much this year and I certainly don't feel like I've had too much time to do the things that I want to do.So, April is … [Read more...]

Thrifty Thursday – The Spring Cleaning Edition….
Spring is definitely in the air.Which is great, obviously.Except for the fact that the sunshine outside always seems to highlight the fact that my house is due it's annual spring clean and de-clutter. But, and there's always a but, I do have a slightly opinion about screen time that I wanted to share with you and even though I'm sure lots of you will disagree, it works for … [Read more...]
You can tell mum’s a blogger….
I've been blogging for a good few years now and I don't think that the kids can remember a time when I didn't blog, they've grown up with it being part of their life and there's certain characteristics that I've noticed they've developed that the child of a non blogger may not have or may not understand....1. They are so NOT camera shy - they're used to being photographed constantly to the point where they enjoy being on camera most of the time. In fact, every time I open my phone or iPad lately there's a whole new batch of selfies waiting to make me smile!2. They wouldn't dream … [Read more...]
