When I read that this some bloggers in the US have declared this Saturday to be World Nutella Day and I saw that the theme for this week’s Friday Club was Cakes and Cookies, I knew exactly which recipe I was going to share with you – Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies.

125g plain flour
50g butter
1 egg
50g brown sugar
50g sugar
200g chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons Nutella
As with all my favourite recipes, this one is super simple. Everything goes into the mixing bowl at once, mix it together and blob onto a greased baking tray.
Bake at 180 c for about 12 minutes and hey presto, Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Make sure you space your blobs out as the mixture does spread – A LOT 🙂 I had to rescue my first batch by cutting out cookie shapes with a glass!
If you want some more Nutella inspiration, you could try my Chocolate Cupcakes with Nutella Frosting or my Nutella Cookies or you could just have it spread on toast. Mmmmmm
If you want to find out more about the Friday Club, pop over to Notes from Home and have a read. Hope to see you joining in next week….
