Can you believe it’s November already?
It’s been pretty mild here again so we’ve still not got around to putting the heating on but I suspect that the weather’s going to turn soon and I’m guessing it’ll be a different story this time next week! I’m hoping that the mild weather holds for next weekend though as we’re planning a cheeky weekend away if we can get something booked.
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week if all goes according to plan….
As always, I won’t bore you with the specifics of every meal but there’s a couple of things I will tell you about:
Toad in the hole is a family favourite and it’s on the menu because we have some sausages in the freezer that we managed to get reduced last week sometime. It’s so easy to make and we’ll be having mash and some mixed veg from the freezer with it and the meal will cost under £2 to feed all four of us which is a great family meal.
Macaroni cheese is another family favourite which is is great when you’re on a budget and it literally takes 15 minutes to cook from start to finish!
