We have three different pound shops in the town where we live and between them there can be some fantastic bargains if you look carefully enough.
I’ve decided to start a monthly feature to share some of our favourite pound shop bargains, starting this month with some of the great make up bargains that we’ve found in the last few weeks….
First up is the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer which sells on the Boots website for £6.49. The one we chose was quite red in colour although there was a pinker shade there too.
Next up is the L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow which is selling for £6.99 on the Boots website. The one we bought is quite a neutral shade but there were lots of other colours – including all sorts of brights and neutrals.
The third photo is a wheel filled with tiny shapes for nail designs and although I’m not sure how much it would sell for elsewhere, it’s great value for a pound!
The last thing we picked up was bottle of Rimmel Pro nail varnish which sells for around £2.99 on the Boots website. They had lots of other colours and some glitter shades by Rimmel and Maybelline.
I think you’ll agree that we found some great bargains – perfect for an 11 year old with a growing interest in make up and a parent who is just learning to experiment with make up thanks to her 11 year old!
