We’ve had a bit of an ongoing argument in the Frugal house – about the sort of dog we wanted. In fact, it’s been going on for so long that I’d just about given up hope of us ever getting a dog. Mr Frugal wants a German Shepherd or a Labrador and I want a Bichon Frise 😉 He wants a ‘manly’ dog that he won’t feel embarassed about walking and I want a cute little dog that doesn’t molt everywhere. The problem was that neither of us wanted to give in…. Until last night when for some reason, he changed his mind and said that if I really wanted one, I could have one!
To say I was stunned was a bit of an understatement, but who am I to question his reasons lol.
We’re going to wait until after Christmas to make sure that we are sure about getting one before we do. I know that a dog, no matter how small, is a lot of work and I want to be sure that we’re ready for it. How sensible and grown up are we?
I’m pretty sure that we won’t change our mind though, so hopefully I’ll be introducing my new baby to you soon.
