I’ve just read a brilliant post by Frugal Queen about a photograph that she loves so much that she would run back into a burning house to save it. Frugal Queen asks – If you could only take one thing (apart from the kids) from a burning house, what would it be?
I’ve given this some very serious consideration 😉 and realised that I can’t choose just one bag from my handbag collection, that would just be unfair to the others, I also realise that I probably can manage without my hair straighteners and my juicy tubes for a short time and that my Smeg fridge probably isn’t a saveable object sooooo I finally decided what I would save in a fire and it’s quite an obvious one when I thought about it.
Yep, it’s my USB stick. Filled with all my pictures of the kids from when Miss Frugal was born right up until last Christmas. The ones after that are still on my laptop as I’ve now filled the memory on there and I haven’t bought a new one yet! This little stick really is my most prized possession and I would be gutted to lose it – so many memories and smiling faces and special moments.
Even when she was a toddler, Miss Frugal loved to cook (actually she’s always been a licking the spoon kind of a girl)
We have practically every Disney Cars car made and the sad thing is I think I can probably name them all!
This was taken 2 or 3 years ago and since then his collection has grown – I keep meaning to get them all out and take a photo but I cant face the mess lol.
By the way, if you haven’t read Frugal Queens blog – you should – it’s brilliant…..
