With all the technology at our fingertips these days, it’s really easy to forget about the old fashioned fun that can be had without the help of electronics. So, much like the I’m bored sticks we made for when the kids tell me that they’re bored, I’ve made a checklist for us grown ups for when we’re thinking about what to do with the kids…
What’s your favourite thing to do together that doesn’t involve electronics?

When some one searches for his necessary thing,
therefore he/she needs to be available that in detail, thus that thing is maintained over here.
Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the easiest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about worries
that they just don’t know about. You managed to
hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects ,
people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more.
Thanks

For people who want to know what the talk around the water cooler is about, Hulu Plus is
the obvious choice. When they are almost done the guy asked Segura for his credit
card information and this is when Segura hung up.

We love games, playmobil and LEGO!
Lego – can't beat it can you?
we tell stories in rounds or play that guess who i am game where you decide who you are and others try and guess but you can only answer yes or no
I love that game – Bethan is always some pop star I've never heard of though!
Great post! We played hide and seek this week, we're trying the Smart Restart Change 4 Life app and it is full of cool ideas like this. or build a den!
That sounds interesting – I'll have to check that out. x x
I love reading a book …. unfortunately usually at the same time as the girls want to bash pots and pans! ha ha!
Great post, like Pink Oddy said, definately needs pinning!!
Ha ha, I know the feeling. As soon as I pick up a book or start to run a bath, it all kicks off!
Fantastic post – in fact I hadn't finished reading it before I decided that it NEEDED pinning.
Such great ideas – can't beat a wooden spoon and saucepans!
My favourite thing is just to get outdoors though, and rediscover what Nature has to offer.
Ah thanks lovely. This is such a lovely time of year to be outdoors isn't it?
We have wellies at the ready for some puddle splashing in the woods soon x
Love this – Alexander has a new found love for his leappad after getting a Scooby Doo game for it – making it so difficult to limit his time on there. I've started limiting my own time on technology as an example to him. (I confess I'm finding it difficult!)
That's what I try and do – set a good example by reducing my time but my fingers are itching to check my emails lol
It has to be a walk along the beach or in the woods – Ozzy is really started to get glued to the iPad which is a habit I'm keen to break!
I love walking along the beach but strangely enough, not on the actual beach as I hate sand. I walk along the path above and they do the beach 😉
Definitely a good walk though the woods and see what we can spot. We went to our first barn dance Saturday night though and that was seriously excellent.. Mich x
A barn dance? I want to come to your house Michelle x x
My youngest loves nothing more than playing with boxes! We still have a few left over from the last time we moved and she still gets them out, climbs inside and spends hours just playing around with her dollies pretending the box is her house.
Many a Christmas my two have played with the empty boxes instead of the presents – I love watching their imaginations working overtime x
I totally agree. I do my best not to have the TV between school and prepping tea in the week. The leap pad is only allowed at weekends. We love puzzles, arts n crafts and the library too. Our local one always has colouring activities out which my youngest loves. Tomorrow we have planned the library in the morning and baking in the afternoon. Can’t wait till the boys are old enough for board games.
Sounds like you all have a lot of old fashioned fun – we haven't done colouring for years but someone gave us a colouring book last week and even I got into it. Quite calming 😉
