Things seem to have been so busy lately that cleaning the house has taken a bit of a backseat and we’ve been doing just the bare minimum needed to keep on top of housework. Don’t get me wrong, the house isn’t dirty in any way but I can look around each room and see all the little jobs that need doing and that annoys me. I can see a cobweb dangling right now
So June is going to be my get back on top of the housework month – inspired in a way by the The Dirty 30 challenge which is encouraging us all to do 30 jobs over 30 days and has a great free printable so you can keep track of your progress.
Why don’t you join me?
I’ll be posting my day’s job each day over on The Diary of a Frugal Family’s Facebook page and it would be great to have some company….
Have you got any frugal cleaning tips to share with me?
You can link up all things thrifty and frugal with this week’s #FabulouslyFrugal linky – whether it’s a blog post, an instagram post, a YouTube video or even just a tip in the comments. We want to see them all so please do link up with us and help show everyone how easy it is to be #FabulouslyFrugal.
Just in case you don’t know what #FabulouslyFrugal is all about, it’s a weekly linky that we started (myself, Jen from A Thrifty Mum and Mum in The Madhouse and Emma from Emma’s Savvy Savings ) with the aim of showing everyone just how easy to be thrifty or frugal.
Every week, I choose a post from the previous week’s linky and feature it and this week, I wanted to share with you Lauren’s recipe for pumpkin soup – mainly because after reading it, I wanted to make it straight away as I have a cold and this soup sounds amazing to be in my snot filled state.
I’d love to see lots of your posts linked up this week 😉
