Santa Letters….

I hope you enjoyed  the personalised videos from Santa, we showed ours to the kids last night and they were absolutely fascinated – Miss Frugal is definitely a believer again (for now). 

Today’s Magical Christmas post is all about sending your children a letter from Santa.  I always do this as I love to see their faces when the postman brings them a letter of their own.  Here’s a few different ways to send a special Santa letter to your child: 

• You could get your child to write to Santa at - Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, SAN TA1.  This is the Royal Mail’s Santa letter service and they say they will try to respond to as many letters as possible.  All they ask is that you make sure your letter includes your child’s name and address and a stamp they can use for the return letter.  Make sure your letter reaches them by 15 December.
• Your could use the Free letters from Santa Claus website which lets you personalise a letter and has a number of special Christmassy backgrounds for you to choose from.  When you’re done, just print it out and you’re good to go.  I would pop the letter in the post and wait for it to be delivered if I did this, although last year I did just leave it on the floor in front of the front door and they were none the wiser.
• You can even e mail Santa now, although I’ve not tried this one yet.  I’m a bit too traditional I think
• If you’re feeling charitable, you can order a letter from the NSPCC website where for a suggested donation of £5.00 per letter you will received a beautiful personalised letter from Santa.  The donation you make goes straight to the NSPCC and will make a real difference.

Even though I ask the kids to give me their Christmas list well in advance of Christmas, we still write a letter to Santa at the start of December.  We haven’t done this years yet but here’s last years:
