You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and so I love to do a monthly post dedicated to sharing some of my bargains with you!
I love the first two bargains that I’m sharing with you today – they both came from Iceland when we visited last month!
We were having a wander around Reyjavik, looking for a hot dog stand if I’m honest, when we spotted a couple of charity shops next door to each other.
The first one we went in just felt a bit posh and nothing had prices on it and I always remember my Mam telling me that if you have to ask the price then you can’t afford it so I did a quick circuit of that one and moved on to the second where thankfully everything was priced up so I knew what not to pick up. 😁
They had a whole Christmas room which was filled with cute little vintage finds, most of which I would have quite happily brought home with me if I’d have had more room in my suitcase.
I limited myself to these super cute Christmas tins which all store inside each other. I have no idea what I’ll do with them but they’re quite large so I’m sure I’ll put them to good use for something.

They were a steal at 300 isk (about £1.85). To put that into context, a croissant cost between £5 and £6 there so this is probably the cheapest price tag I saw on anything the whole time we were there.
Next up is this tea light holder which is a heavy glass design that no photo I can take goes anywhere near doing it justice.

I love it and it was another bargain at 400 isk (about £2.45) which I think is great considering this is something that will we’ll bring out every Christmas for a long time I hope.
I also have a few other bits and bobs that I’ve bought lately to share with you, mainly for the new house to be honest.
This little Ringtons teapot makes me smile as it reminds me of my Nana in the same way that my Ringtons sweet jar from last month’s post does.

It was in the Vintage section with no price on it and even though I have no actual use for a teapot, I asked how much it was and the lady said it was £15. I thanked her for checking for me and said I would leave it as I only wanted it as it made me smile. She then smiled at me and said that she’d made a mistake and it was only £5 which was lovely of her. I couldn’t say no to that, could I?
This little glass jug caught my eye in a charity shop in a town nearby.

It’s a shop I’ve never been in before and it was a mix between a charity shop and a craft supply shop and it had the oddest mix of things in there. This little glass jug was on a shelf catching the small amount of sun shining through the window and I couldn’t resist it even though I have no actual use for it. It is sitting pretty now on my windowsill and reflecting little rainbows around the room though so it was worth it. 🌈
And that’s pretty much it for this month’s pre-loved bargains from me!
If you want to find out more about how I find bargains on Vinted then this how to buy on Vinted post is perfect for you – it’s the perfect place to start if you want to start finding some pre-loved bargains of your own.
Also, I know that money is tight for many of us right now so I did just want to say that usually when I buy anything pre-loved, I try and only use money that I’ve made from things that I’ve sold on Vinted so I rarely pay actual money for anything you see that I’ve bought from there. Here’s a post about how much I made in a weekend selling on Vinted a little while ago to give you an idea!
If you do decide to sign up to Vinted, I’d be super grateful if you use my refer a friend link. 😁
So that’s what I’ve bought pre-loved this month. I’d love to see your bargains so feel free to tag me in any Instagram posts and I’ll pop over and see what you’ve been buying!
