How do you fancy winning yourself a pair of tickets to watch this year’s Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final courtesy of Robinsons?
The lovely team from Robinsons have emailed me because they have two tickets that they’d like to give away to one of you lucky lot and not only have they offered to provide the tickets, they’ve also offered the winner access to the Exclusive Robinson Suite on the day which I can only imagine will be the icing on the cake of a great day!
Robinsons and Wimbledon go way back – as far back as 1935 actually which is when Lemon Barley Water was first created at The Championships to refresh tennis players. Fast forward to 2017, and Robinsons is still found front and centre at the prestigious Grand Slam tournament.
To celebrate their great relationship with Wimbledon, Robinsons decided to get an old Wimbledon favourite on board to have some fun with some families at The All England Lawn Tennis Club although not in the way you might expect! They not only had England’s favourite tennis pro in disguise with messy red hair and big bushy beard, they also had him serving glasses of fruit squash to families as part of their prank by the
The attending families, unaware they were in the presence of a British sporting legend, were surprised when he started flexing his skills on the court and gate-crashed their VIP tennis lesson with All England Lawn Tennis Club Head Coach Dan Bloxham.
After showing off on the court, Tim finally revealed his true identity to gasps and applause. He then went on to host a very special tennis lesson for the guests, followed by some time relaxing with a tasty glass of Robinsons squash afterwards.
Tim said, “For me, it’s all about encouraging people to play tennis and have fun with it. I played from the age of four, and want to inspire the next generation of tennis aces to enjoy learning new skills, making friends and being outside – whether that’s whilst winning or losing. It’s great that Robinsons are recognising that, and it’s been such a laugh winding everyone up.”
