Her dress was £30 in Debenhams sale last year plus £25 alterations. Nails were £15, Hair £20, make up £25, shoes and accessories about £50 and ticket was about £30 plus she then needed spends for drinks etc. Luckily we didn't have to pay for transport etc as the school provided coaches for everyone. You daughter looks beautiful and I hope she had a good night x

Which brings the cost per wear down quite a bit 😉

BUT ….. I also have twin girls whose prom will be in two years time …… think I best start saving now as I think that will be a little bit more 🙂

She looks beautiful and so elegant and you must feel so proud of her.

In all honesty in not sure I will be happy paying that much for a dress but like you say there are other avenues to pursue. At the end of the day being frugal is about making the most out of your money so that you do have cash to spend on what you want x
