Have you ever looked through your camera roll on your phone and found a photo that’s just too good not to share? It might be because it makes you smile as you remember a happy memory or because you’re proud of how good the photo turned out.
Sunday Snapshot is my new weekly feature where I plan to share a photo I love with you…

This is a photo from yesterday which I shared over on Instagram yesterday afternoon.
I don’t often share photos of myself but I’m away this weekend with an amazing group of women who made me feel so good about myself as a person that I felt confident enough to share it with the world.
I got such lovely comments on my post (which I’ll definitely reply to later thank you all) and no one seemed to notice that my hair was dry shampooed to within an inch of its life and I didn’t have a scrap of makeup on.
The replies made me feel really good about myself which really demonstrates the power of a few positive comments.
Im going to make sure I give people more positive comments on future because of how happy this made me feel and I’d love you to do the same!
Happy Sunday ❤️❤️

I don’t wear much makeup either, my hubby tells me I look great without it. I take good care of my skin, and makeup clogs your pores, lip gloss or lipstick is all I use most of the time. As for my hair, which I do use good shampoo and conditioner to care for it, as it is past my elbows and the cheaper stuff leaves it knotty. I have my hubby trim it for me every 2-3 months to keep my ends neat, and I love wearing my hair in braids. I have him give me French, Dutch, side, dual, fishtail and combinations of them. He loves my hair long as much as I do, so I know he won’t get scissor happy on me or not braid my hair for me when I ask. I get compliments on my hair and people ask how I do my braids. I laugh and tell them I don’t know how to do anything more than a simple three strand braid and my method is to have a seat and tell hubby I need a braid and tell him what I want. Usually responses are favorable and when Chris Pratt French braided an intern’s hair on a tv show people thought it was awesome he knew how to do it. I just think every woman should have her husband be able to braid her hair for her, I enjoy having him do it for me.
you look lovely and i like your rainbow umbrella x
I don't comment much but that's a lovely photo!
I enjoy your blog. Thanks very much for your work.
