Earning Extra Side Income in 2026: Opportunities Worth Exploring….
Before we get started, a quick hello. If you’ve been around the blog for a while, you’ll already know me as Miss Frugal. I’ve popped up here and there over the years, but while Mam isn’t very well, I’m helping out a bit more and learning the ropes of blogging along the way. I've considered a few of these options over the last few months but I thought I'd see if there was a blogger in me before that. Fingers crossed for me please! With the cost of living still being a worry for so many people my age, earning extra money has started to feel less like a “side hustle trend” and more like a … [Read more...]
Amazing 3 ingredient Kit Kat Fudge…
Kit Kat fudge is my new favourite thing! My 5-minute Nutella fudge recipe is one of my most popular posts – especially at this time of year – so I thought I'd experiment with some other variations of homemade fudge. I’ve been playing around in the kitchen lately, trying to come up with a few fun recipes that feel a bit festive without being complicated or expensive. And honestly, this one … [Read more...]

I researched, I planned, I watched … [Read more...]
What NOT to Do If You Can’t Sleep at Night….
I really struggle with sleep. It sounds a bit mad but my body seems to wake itself up anywhere between half past two and half past three almost every night and once I'm awake, I really struggle to get back to sleep. My diabetic nurse told me that this is a very common issue for people who are diabetic and that it's linked to changes in our bodies blood sugar levels through the night. These blood sugar changes happen to everyone but if someone has diabetes then their insulin response isn't enough to deal with that, hence the night time wake up call. 😁I've … [Read more...]
Cheap draught-proofing hacks for cosy nights in….
There’s nothing better than a cosy autumn night at home – fluffy socks on, a warm drink in hand, and maybe a film on the TV. But nothing ruins the mood quicker than a chilly draught sneaking in under the doors or rattling through the windows and our new house has plenty of 'problem' areas so I've been doing a bit of research around the things we can do to specifically fix any draughts. We know that the house has lots of things that we need to do to get it to where we want it to be but we have been honest with ourselves and acknowledged that we won't get all jobs done straight away. … [Read more...]
