I posted this a few months ago originally but seeing as it’s my worst ever fashion disaster, I decided to repost it to enter in to the April Tots 100 Blog Hop. Afer all, you couldn’t possibly get more of a disaster than that hair could you?
Miss Frugal has just discovered that our new printer has a built in scanner so you can imagine what we’ve been doing tonight. Yep – the house and everything in it has been now been scanned to within an inch of its life!
After about half an hour of scanning random drawings and magazines I decided to brave the garage (filled with boxes and spiders) and go find our big box of family photos. It’s huge (thank goodness for digital camera’s and memory cards lol) so I just grabbed a handful and retreated hastily for fear that a spider would come too close!
We’ve then sat and scanned about a gazillion photos – everything from my mam to family holidays when I was little to family pets I have no recollection of ever having met. All was going well till she came across this photo of yours truly on holiday in Spain when I was the same age Miss Frugal is now….
Those of you who have been here before will realise that I look exactly the same as Miss Frugal does now! It’s so uncanny that she’s just asked me when she had horrible hair as she couldn’t remember this photo being taken of her!
Horrible hair! Does she not know that I begged for that perm lol

Lol! The hairstyle looks funny, but it's not 'worse'. It's cool.
Wow! This curl hair style looks a good. I have seen many girls have a such type of hair styles and they really loves it. Not a bad hair style, it looks a pretty!
my daughter spent hrs and hrs scanning every photo we ever had and put them on a disc, and bought me a photo frame to go with them for my 50th birthday a few years back…such a wonderful present. if you leave yours long enough somebody may do your for you. we have pics of my daughter and grandaughter at same age and they are so similar its like twins!!

Oh how funny I have dead straight hair and missed the perm phase but I know my sister had a very fetching perm not too dissimilar to your own ha ha xx

Imagine if your husband photopcopied it and put it up round the neighbourhood – someone did that round here recently for a neighbours 50th Birthday – there was a different (not very flattering) picture on each lampost in the street and on a few of the roundabouts around.

I am from the North and we always say mam but I always try to write mum in
my blog as mam never seems to look right when I read it back – it makes me
sound like I'm writing a Catherin Cookson book lol.
My husband says mom though so my e mail address is frugal mom (as he sent
it up) and I write frugal mum but we actually say mam….. Confused yet?

Noticed you used the word 'mam' as opposed to 'mum or mom' or you from up North perchance? I prefer to use 'mam' as I hail from the north east but have to use 'mum' when I am work.

LOL! I can beat that hands down! Don't have a scanner though. (Thankfully!) I had a naturally curly almost afro mullet! It was hideous!! My OH is threatening to put it in the paper this year as I'm turning 30. I think I'd have to kill him! lol.
