Dropping a teaspoon on a lino floor would be like a car backfiring on my shoulder.
The hearing aid has been a huge help but so also has special ear plugs that prevent water ever getting into my ears. I didn't realise that washing my hair or having a shower was adding to my problems but it was! Now I wear my earplugs for these things and even in a really bad rainstorm I got caught out in and my balance is better.
I'm wheelchair bound, but balance is still a problem if I have to go up a slope it has to be sideways or the pressure in my skull is like a vice. Anyway the point is I started Tai Chi in my chair and yes it really does help. I suggest your DH doesn't get caught up in the words around the exercises (I think of them as movements) but tries them out in privacy, they could work and that has to be worth it with the hell these issues cause us.

I am sure it can be googled. Although I am not sure it success rate. Take my comment with a grain of salt.
But tinnitus I have. It was so hard to live with the first 6 months. I couldn't hear myself think especially when I was ready for sleep. Then you get used to it for the most part. I like to run white noise – it helps a lot.
I am so glad you DH is finding some support and relief with the Menieres.

As a sufferer myself, I know how debilitating Menieres Disease can be. Luckily, I've also found a solution to the vertigo attacks and have a hearing aid which helps. I hope he continues to improve. x
