This month I’ve been working with the lovely guys from Homesense (part of the TK Maxx family) to share some of the amazing things I’ve bought there with you all. Catch up with what you’ve missed from me and the other bloggers involved by searching #HomesenseFinds on all your favourite social media channels.
I know I said this in my last post but just as a reminder, in case you’ve never been in to your local Homesense, it’s one of those places where there are different things in stock every time you go in. They sell everything from one off quirky pieces to everyday essentials – all at great prices.
I’ve already shared some of the amazing pretty things that I bought from there a few weeks ago so today I thought I’d share with you some of the practical things that I bought too because as much as I love Homesense for the one off individual things I find in there, they do every day essentials brilliantly!
I bought Miss Frugal a rose gold bin for her bedroom which she LOVES although to be fair, anything rose gold always goes down well in her eyes.
For us, I bought a new fitted sheet for our bed which feels like an extremely expensive sheet but it totally wasn’t.
Then for the kitchen, I bought a mince pie mold because I looked everywhere for one last year and couldn’t find one so as soon as I saw this, I snatched it up. I also bought some new measuring spoons because mine are a bit old and I loved how bright these were.
Next up is a Prosecco glass that probably should have been in the pretty post but in my head I thought it was practical because it was a glass! It says ‘Hand me the Prosecco and watch me get Fabulous’ and I love it, although I don’t drink Prosecco that often these days.
The patch perfect iron on transfers are for a project I have in mind for our holidays next month so keep an eye out for that!
Next up is the fajita sizzle pan that I bought to make our fajitas nights a bit more exciting. Stay tuned this week for an amazing leftovers fajitas recipe that looks great served up on this.
And finally, something I’m not sure belongs in the pretty or the practical post!
I love this little floor standing caddy and it was the first thing I put in my trolley when I walked into Homesense because I loved it on sight. I love the shabby chic finish on the metal and the practicality of the storage it offers but in reality I have nowhere for it to go and I may have let my heart win over my head this time. I need to find somewhere for it to go though as I love it so if you have any ideas on what it could be used for then please let me know.
What do you think of my practical #HomesenseFinds then? I love the individuality of them all and they’re all very me so fit right in with our home.
Keep your eyes open for my next post which is all about the practical thing I’ve bought in Homesense!
