We found some pathetic looking peaches and lemons in the reduced section at the shop last night so I decided to try my hand at making some sort of peach lemonade type drink.
It turned our really delicious so being the lovely person that I am, I thought I’d share it with you although the photos don’t really do it justice as it’s such a grey day outside that I’m struggling to find any sunlight at all!

Homemade Peach Lemonade
100ml water
a handful of ice cubes
2 peaches, peeled and chopped
the juice of 1 1/2 lemons
we also added an orange as we had one sat looks lonely in the fruit bowl
Then we just added everything into our blender and blitzed it. That’s it!

Our peaches were super ripe and sweet but looking at the various variations of this recipe around the internet, if they’re not then you may need to add a little sugar or less lemon juice.
Now if only it was summer so I could be sat outside with a book enjoying this super delicious homemade peach lemonade!

Gosh I would never even think of doing something like this with overripe fruit, thanks Cass. I'll give it try. Mich x
I am a big fan of juicing and grabbing the fruit at the end of the day at the supermarket is a great idea!
It looks delicious to me!
Oooh summer in a glass!
I love picking up cheap fruit in the reduced section and making concoctions.
