Every week I share five frugal things that I’ve done during the previous week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life.

Hey! 👐
1) My opener for this week’s post isn’t just a bunch of bargain flowers, but it’s a field filled with them.

Is that not the most beautiful sight?
This field of sunflowers is a farm near where we live and it’s been super popular over the last few weeks, filling up my Facebook feed with friends and family who have been to visit it. The farmer has been selling six stems for a fiver which is a bargain as it is but we’re going away this week so rather than go through the day and buy some for myself, I went at night when no-one was around and enjoyed a peaceful walk taking about 100 photos (not even joking) and just enjoying the calm.
2) This is your reminder to always use your loyalty cards and if you don’t have one for a shop you use – SIGN UP FOR IT.
This week, we saved a fortune at Tesco by using our Tesco Clubcard.

We also got a free pastry in Lidl and 30% off our bill at Toby carvery! Nothing that’s going to make us millionaires but it’s all better in our pocket than else’s, right?
I have all the apps downloaded to my phone ready to go when I have the chance to use them!
3) We got a great Too Good To Go bag this week from a local garage.

We bought it last minute so when we went in to collect it, they hadn’t actually prepped it so the lady took two carrier bags and wandered around the shop adding in all sorts – admittedly, mostly bread, pitta bread and bread buns but lots of other things too. 😁
There were packets of ham and chicken, six packs of Angel Delight, a whopping eight packs of Birds custard powder, some salad and a couple of yogurts and all for the grand sum of £2.29.
4) I just booked car hire for our trip this week and used TopCashback to earn a bit of cashback on the amount we paid. Again, not a huge amount but I’d rather it was in my bank account than not.
5) I popped into the village where I live this week to sort out my holiday reading – This little lot (and one other that I’ve somehow lost between the shop and my suitcase) cost me £2 as they were 50p each but three for £1.

I’ve packed two for this week and am hoping to get some time relaxing around the pool with them!
Hope you’ve had a good week and saved yourself lots of money!
