Thank you. I've created an emergency fund of just over a £1000 and paying towards my debts as per (sort of) Dave Ramsey's Baby Step 2. I actually run T Harv Ekers 6 jar money management system alongside so I'm saving extra too. I too was thinking about whether or not to stop various insurance I have. I currently have a boiler service with BG but also have electrical, plumbing, pest and roof cover with Homeserv. In the last couple of years I've called them out infrequently but it has saved me money in the past. I think I'd want my emergency fund to be much larger before completely discontinuing some of these services.

I'm working on building this up at the moment before I plunge full on into paying off my debt. It sounds like your well on your way to having your big emergency fund in place which is exciting! Maybe starting to invest a small amount whilst you complete it would give you a good balance? 🙂
