I think we've found the trigger (or one of them) for Miss Frugal's abdominal migraines!You might remember in January I wrote about the increasing pains that poor Miss Frugal got and I said we were trying to figure out what the trigger was (if there even was one).  Someone, and I can't for the life of me remember who, said that one trigger may well be processed meat as something used in the process is a known trigger for some people.We cut it out of her diet completely just under three weeks ago and things have improved dramatically for her.  We've only had one attack (I'll get to that … [Read more...]

Other than one abdominal migraine attack and a little bit of man flu, the house has been relatively germ free this week for the first time since Christmas!  We're slowly catching up on all the sleep we've missed and I'm starting to catching up on everything that I've been putting off in favour of Nana naps and sofa snuggles - I may even tackle my in-box at some point over the weekend ;-)I'm afraid my photos from this week are still not very exciting though.  We still haven't had the energy to actually get out and do much other than school and work - next week will be more interesting, I … [Read more...]

My babies are growing up....Master Frugal asked me the other day if he could buy a girl at school a little gift for Valentines Day!  I tried not to let the fact that the girl he wanted to buy the gift for is in fact not his girlfriend, but is his ex-girlfriend who dumped him for his best friend.  His current girlfriend doesn't appear to feature in his present giving plans this year!So, he counted out his pennies and off we popped to buy a little teddy and a chocolate rose that he'd seen for £1 each.  He proudly carried them home, made a little card to go with them and they're now … [Read more...]
