Yesterday morning I got a message from one of my friends to ask if I'd seen what was going on over at the Paypal Facebook page. The shops are filled with Halloween goodies at the moment and if you could spend a fortune on it all if you wanted to and I'm sure if you did, you'd have a great family night but it's really not necessary. Why Pocketmoney works for us….
In the past when I've written about pocketmoney a few people have comment that they don't give their children pocketmoney because they give them money when they need it and buy them treats etc through the week.I kind of understand that although I'm not sure what that teaches children about budgeting but it wouldn't work for us because Miss Frugal especially would be constantly asking for money to do this and that and there's no way I'd buy some of the things that she chooses to save up for with her money (a £15 MAC lipstick is her recent purchase).Rocking her MAC lipstick ;-) We … [Read more...]
