Another busy week this week - we have something planned for every night and I'm shattered just thinking about it! Family friendly frugal meals – Leftover turkey and sweet potato curry….
We've all got a really busy week this week so our meal plan is going to have be a bit flexible.Monday - I made a curry yesterday using leftover turkey and sweet potato from our pretend thanksgiving meal to reheat for tea tonight. I love that saying - do you always have some month left over at the end of the money? I first saw it on a fridge magnet at a service station we stopped at once and from then on it's been my favourite saying.It doesn't matter how much money your monthly budget says you should have left over at the end of every month if the actual amount left in your bank account doesn't come anywhere close. Family Friendly Frugal Meals – Slow cooked brisket….
After the chaos of last week, we have a nice boring week ahead of us thank goodness.We're all feeling a bit bleugh at the minute to be honest. Mr Frugal is awaiting an MRI scan for his vertigo as the specialist says his symptoms are much worse than they would expect and he's also due to go for an x-ray and an ultrasound as the Dr thinks he also has kidney stones. This week is a bit of a funny week as we had friends round on Sunday night for fireworks, then we were away in London until last night. Family Friendly Frugal Meals – Toad in the hole….
I'm loving that it's half term this week and I'm off work until Thursday which means I not only have time to spend with the kids, I also have the luxury of having enough time to plan and make our meals without having to stress about who needs to be where and on what day.
