Kit Kat fudge is my new favourite thing! My 5-minute Nutella fudge recipe is one of my most popular posts – especially at this time of year – so I thought I'd experiment with some other variations of homemade fudge. This amazing 3-ingredient Kit Kat fudge is right up there with the Nutella version, so if you're looking for an idea for a homemade gift this year (or even just as a treat for you) then look no further! I’ve been playing around in the kitchen lately, trying to come up with a few fun recipes that feel a bit festive without being complicated or expensive. And honestly, this one … [Read more...]
Candy Cane Spoons….
If you’re planning a cosy Christmas movie night or making snowman soup with the kids, these candy cane spoons are such a fun little extra. They melt into hot chocolate beautifully, add a lovely minty sweetness and look so festive on a Christmas Eve drinks tray. They’re surprisingly easy to make too, which is probably why they’ve become one of my favourite little homemade treats to whip up at this time of year. 😊I was so pleased with the way my candy cane spoons came out. It’s not often that something I picture in my head turns out exactly the way I hoped, but these cute little … [Read more...]
Tasty Apple and Honey Bran Muffins….
These Apple and Honey Bran Muffins really are lovely and they're definitely healthier than the average muffin - even if they look a bit wonky. 😁I remember when I was little, my Mam used to cook some kind of cake using Kelloggs All-Bran but I have no clue what else was in it - I can vividly remember her weighing out the All-Bran to go in it and I remember how much I enjoyed it just out of the oven but that's as much as I can remember. Every now and again, I have a go at making something with All-Bran in it in some sort of an attempt to recreate a childhood memory and a … [Read more...]

We always made this by hand rather than in our bread maker for no other reason than it just felt like more of a rustic … [Read more...]

Halloween Pumpkin Peppers….
I'm not normally one for making food look pretty but last week I spotted some lovely looking orange peppers in the reduced section at the shop and as soon as I spotted them, I knew exactly what I was going to make with them - Halloween Pumpkin Peppers! And I don't even care that there's still a month left until Halloween!Halloween pumpkin peppers are so easy to make and they can be prepared in advance of when you want to cook them which makes them even better in my eyes.
