Today's 'Five free things to do in Ipswich' post is the second in my series about free things to do around the UK as a family. (In case you're wondering where the first post was, it was way back in March before the world went crazy and was all about the best free things to do in Middlesbrough)Today's post is from the very lovely Faith Archer who blogs over at Much More with Less and is one of my blogging idols - she's such a lovely lady and her blog is fantastic with much more grown-up money advice that I give here so I can't recommend highly enough that you pop over and have … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did this week {31st July 2020}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) There's been a dress that I've wanted from Laura Ashley for a good six months or so but I couldn't bear the thought of paying £70 for a dress so even though I wanted it, I left it on the rack every time I saw it. Anyway, last weekend, I walked past Laura Ashley and thought I'd just nip in on the off chance that the dress was in the sale and I … [Read more...]
How to make a workspace at home when you have no space…
Working from home isn't as easy as I thought it would be and I realised quite quickly that I needed my own little space to work from. The problem is that I had absolutely no space anywhere to fit one in. Five Frugal Self-Care Ideas….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐 I started to write this week's post and decided it was a bit boring with most of the money-saving things that I've done this week being very much the same as what I've done for the last three months so I thought I'd do something a little bit different. I wrote a post on Sunday about how self-care is super important for people who are working from … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did this week {10th July 2020}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐 1) Did I tell you that I've set up my Starling account to round my spending up to the nearest pound, double it and then move that amount over to my holiday savings account? I haven't been using my card much at all lately thanks to the fact that most shops have been closed and it's free food and drinks at my work but this last week, I have … [Read more...]
