I posted my New Years resolutions a few days ago and this is quite a similar post to be honest so I may never even hit the Publish button. It might just be my own personal little thing that I can refer to every now and again to see how many things I've actually got around to doing. On the other hand, I think I will publish it and share little updates with you every now and again....Basically, this is my to do list for the first three months of the year - I'll do another one in April along with a full update on what I've actually achieved from this one! I've written a list of very … [Read more...]
Get Organised – How to meal plan….
Have you ever wondered how to meal plan successfully? If you have and you want to save your family money then read on....The half an hour a week that I spend planning our meals and shopping list saves us more money than anything else we do so it's well worth the short amount of time it takes to do so I thought I'd make my first post of 2013 all about meal planning and how we do it in our house.I have a meal planning notebook (there's a surprise) and every Saturday, I write down a list of everything we have in the fridge, the freezer and the cupboards. Our Christmas Eve Traditions….
In case you haven't already guessed - I love Christmas!I think I'm a bit odd though as I look forward to Christmas Eve more than the big day itself. I'm not sure if it's the anticipation for the day ahead or if it's just because we have a set routine on Christmas Eve that I love and look forward to.We get up when we get up and have home made pancakes for breakfast followed by a trip to the cinema usually to see a Christmassy film. This year we're having some lovely friends and their children round for a couple of hours in the afternoon so we're not going to the pictures but we'll be … [Read more...]
