Prices seem to be rising daily at the moment so I thought I'd write a quick post about the ways that I save money at the supermarket because, let's face it, every penny counts right now so if I can help you save a little bit when you're doing your weekly shop then we're winning!1) Airtime Rewards This is one I've mentioned loads over the last couple of months since I first discovered this one but Airtime Rewards is amazing! It's a completely free app that you download onto your phone, you connect your bank cards which is as simple as just scanning your card or typing in the details – no … [Read more...]
#OldSchoolMealPlanning – 5th May 2025
As part of my frugal reset, I've been sharing our weekly meal plans on here again and I'll be honest, I've really enjoyed the old school blog posts again along with the accountability that I get from sharing something with you all!How on earth is it May already?I read somewhere this week that there's only 32 Sundays until Christmas. 😁 This year is flying by and I feel like if I'm not careful then I'm going to blink and Summer will be here and gone! Low Carb Airfryer Pancakes….
Being a diabetic, I often feel like I'm missing out on certain foods so now that I feel like I've got a bit more of a handle on managing my diabetes, I'm trying to look for diabetic alternatives to the foods I enjoy so that I can continue to enjoy them. Today, I'm going to share my recipe for Airfryer low carb pancakes. I've recently started to use almond flour as an alternative to normal flour because it has a much lower carbohydrate content which makes it better for diabetics. It contains around 21g of carbohydrates per 100g compared to normal flour which typically has … [Read more...]

I wanted something that I loved the look of but that was functional with enough space to pack enough for a night or two away … [Read more...]
