Kit Kat fudge is my new favourite thing!

My 5-minute Nutella fudge recipe is one of my most popular posts – especially at this time of year – so I thought I’d experiment with some other variations of homemade fudge. This amazing 3-ingredient Kit Kat fudge is right up there with the Nutella version, so if you’re looking for an idea for a homemade gift this year (or even just as a treat for you) then look no further!
I’ve been playing around in the kitchen lately, trying to come up with a few fun recipes that feel a bit festive without being complicated or expensive. And honestly, this one ticks every box. It’s quick, it’s delicious, it uses things you can grab in pretty much any supermarket, and it looks like you’ve put way more effort in than you actually have 😂
Homemade fudge is such a lovely little gift too – pop a few squares into a cute jar or a cellophane bag with a ribbon, and you’ve got an instant thoughtful present for teachers, neighbours, Secret Santa or anyone who deserves a little sweet treat. Or, if you’re anything like me, you might just cut yourself a generous piece while it’s still slightly soft and call it ‘taste testing’.
Either way, this Kit Kat version is definitely one to add to your list this Christmas!
- Line an 11 x 7 pan with baking paper.
- Break up 3 of the Kit Kat bars and layer the fingers on the bottom of the pan so they’re evenly distributed over the space.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
- Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted and smooth. Remove from microwave. You might want to make the blasts shorter as you go along and the mixture starts melting

- Pour the melted mixture on top of the Kit Kat’s in the pan. Use a spatula to spread evenly.
- Open the last pack of Kit Kat and crush it into pieces. Sprinkle it on top of the fudge.
- Chill for 3-4 hours to allow the fudge to set.
- Cut into squares before serving.
- Enjoy your amazing homemade Kit Kat fudge yourself of pop it into pretty boxes or sellophane bags as gifts.

If you think you’ve seen this post before, you absolutely might have. This week’s posts are a little bit special because my very lovely daughter, Miss Frugal, has stepped in to help while I’m feeling a bit under the weather. She’s chosen some of her favourite old posts to share with you again – the ones that bring back happy memories of things we’ve made, done or visited together, and I honestly can’t wait to see what she’s picked. One of the conditions of her takeover was that she was allowed to do it all herself, so I’ve written this little intro for her to add to each post she chooses. I’ll be finding out what she’s re-sharing at the same time as you do. The control freak in me is very uncomfortable with this.
I’d love you follow me on Twitter and it would be amazing to see you over on my Facebook page and on Instagram. If you’re interested, you can find out more about me here and while I’ve got your attention, if you’re wondering why some of my posts lately are a little bit less frugal then have a read of this post. 😉
