Everyone knows that when you have kids, it’s practically impossible to have a bath without being interrupted or to even have a wee without a little person following you to the toilet. I don’t even shut the toilet door at home anymore because that’s like an open invitation for a child to come in, but you would think that I would remember to close the cubicle door at work wouldn’t you?
You’d be wrong though! Can you believe I went for a wee at work today and out of habit, I forgot to close the toilet door…. And yes, someone did walk in!

This is the only toilet photo I have, it’s the sign outside the ladies toilets at Drayton Manor ;-)…. It was either that or a photo of me having a wee.

I know exactly what you mean. You would think a closed door means don't come in, but not to kids it doesn't. I haven't gone as far as you and forgot the door at work, but I have done it at my parents house, but luckily only my husband saw and asked me what I was doing. And it was at that time I remembered that I wasn't at home.
LOL! That's is so like something I'd do! I once took Lily into a disabled/family toilet in a pub which faced out into the pub when she was about 3 or 4. And yup you know it, she opened the door when I was on the loo and everyone saw me *mortified face*
Ha ha – I feel a bit better about my 'experience' now.
The kids find it strange when we have visitors who actually lock the door when they go to the toilet – they did try to follow my friend once but she wasn't having it lol – strange that she's not been back for a while. Coincidence???? 😉
Other than me mumbling something vaguely about kids and habit, she was stayed in her cubicle until I was long.
Good job I had my nice knickers on and not my granny pants on eh?
I think it was them bless them, they practically ran to their own cublcle (remembering to lock the door lol).
I just kind of mumbled domething about kids and habit and ran….
Lucky you 😉
That could so easily have been me. I can’t believe how much my life has changed. Like you I never close the toilet door at home any more- it’s totally pointless. But I do have to remember to change my habits when I have visitors!

i've done that at work and realised mid-wee…then what do you do? pray or stop mid-proceedings to tackle the door issue as you hear someone climbing the stairs? i feel your pain!
lmao
After my experience I would say stop mid-proceedings. Less pain in the long run 😉
OOPS! Well hopefully that person has kids too and knows where your coming from
lol – hopefully 😉
If it makes you feel any better I embarrass myself continuously! With and without the help of the kids. Was the person who walked in on you someone you knew?
Lol – glad it's not just me then.
It was somone I know but not that well if you know what I mean, I don't think I'll look her in the eye again though 😉
Ha, ha Cass…easliy done hun. Yes, I know exactly what you mean too – It's like trying to have a convo on the telephone…..a complete non-starter in our house. S x x
Same here, what is it about picking up the phone that attracts every child within 20 metres!
