As much as I love Spring and the return of the sunshine, there’s no denying that the sun does have a way of shining on the dust in the house and highlighting areas that need a bit of a clean – which is why you’ll find me having a good old Spring Clean this weekend!
Whenever I do a big clean like I’m planning, I give myself a bit of a head start by getting everyone involved as I do when I want to clean the house quickly. You can read about that here if you want to have a look but basically we have a super quick clean where we all focus on one room for a short period of time before moving on to the next.
Our fast clean gives me a great head start and means I can concentrate on the bits that need my attention as they often get neglected in my day to day cleaning – you know the jobs I mean don’t you? Jobs like cleaning the skirting boards, behind things, under things and even on top of high things.
