Money Makeover is back this week but with a bit of a difference seeing as it’s the Half Term Holidays which means that most of us will have the kids at home with us this week.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve written and shared lots of ideas about how to have fun on a budget so I thought I’d make this week’s Money Makeover post a bit of a round up of some of these posts to give you some ideas on what to do this week without spending a fortune….

Great ideas to use – have bookmarked for the next holidays as its only 4 weeks away (gulp)
Love the idea of an “I’m bored jar”. My little girl is only nine months old, but I have already started storing away random bits to make a crafty/wet day box for her. Will be popping back here to make a mental note of all the other tips.

Funny how different the terms are over here – my son is just in his second week of the school term after a long summer holiday over January! But I will definitely be bookmarking these for the next school hold, what an amazing resource! xx

Excellent this is JUST what I need at the moment as Kit and Oz are 'bored' already! On day 1! *despairs*
Lots of ideas – we are all for fun on a budget – I must admit our National Trust membership is one of our best yearly investments – we visited one yesterday and we have two more planned for this week – taking a homemade picnic and a flask of tea – perfect!

Lots of ideas there Cass! I'm having to work a lot of this half term but am doing trades with friends for childcare and am off to visit friends for a well needed catch up and a brew. The kids will be pleased to see each other and expenditure will be minimal
