For the last month or so Miss Frugal has been excitedly telling me that her class at school are due to have ‘the talk’.
I’ve absolutely no idea why she’s been so excited about this talk as it’s not even the sex talk, it’s just about puberty and growing up and she’s already quite clued up about that.
They’ve been told at school today that the talk is going to be happening on Monday afternoon which is unfortunate as Miss Frugal isn’t actually going to be at school on Monday as we’re away for a long weekend this weekend. Understandably, she’s devastated 😉
After watching her pout like a supermodel while she considered whether it was worth staying with her Grandad while we all went away so she’d be here on Monday to hear the talk, I pointed out to her that we’ve already had the talk ourselves.
She just looked at me like she was humouring a small child and said:
Yes but you didn’t have a Powerpoint presentation when you told me about that stuff did you?
What could I say to that?
