Last year, I wrote a series of posts to help people give their finances a complete Money Makeover and I still get emails and comments from people to tell me that they find them really useful so I thought I’d give them a page of their own here so they’re easy to find and will hopefully help even more people.
I did one a week for a couple of months so it was a small amount of work each week for you that would (hopefully) end up saving you some serious money by the end of the series. You can choose to do one or week or just work your way down the list when you have some spare time.
I promise it’s worth the time and effort!
Week One – Money Makeover Introduction
Week Two – Sort our your spending
Week Three – Dealing with Debt
Week Four – Get a better deal on insurance
Week Five – Energy Money Saving
Week Six – Cut the cost of your home phone bills
Week Seven – School Holiday Moneysaving
Week Eight – Get what you’re entitled to
Week Nine – Save money while you drive
Week Ten – Saving money on days out
Before you start though, it’s worth finding a notebook (or even the back of an envelope if you’re being super-frugal) so you can keep a record of just how much money you’re saving as you go along. Personally, I find it really motivates me to see when I’m saving money and to watch the savings add up.
