This week’s meal plan – with a lot of help from the slow cooker….

Yeay - we've successfully got through another week without illness!  I think the germs may have finally got the hint and left us ;-) It's a bit of a busy week this week, I started my new job today so am working full time for a little while until I'm up to speed with my new role.  I'm really looking forward to the job itself but not sure about the longer hours - even if it is only temporary.  I have a feeling that the slow cooker is going to really earn it's keep this week! Cook with your Kids Blogger’s Competition – Nana’s Jam Buns….


I love to cook with my children - they usually bake cakes with me on a weekend and Miss Frugal especially is at the age now where she wants to be able to cook more independently in the kitchen.  She often makes us tea and spends ages looking through her cookbooks (she has lots of children's ones) choosing what she's going to make us.
