One of my New Years resolutions (both this year and last) was to start redecorating my house as it’s currently floor to ceiling magnolia – it’s well overdue as we’ve lived here for three years now. I’ve so far done my teeny tiny entrance hall and I’ve just bought the things I need for my Living room but after that, I could do with some inspiration….
And what better place to get that than at the Ideal Home Show takes place in London at Earls Court, from March 16 to April 1.With everything from home interiors to home improvements and pampering to gadgets, you couldn’t fail to be inspired and because I’m lovely (I really am you know) I have five tickets to give away. All you need to do is leave a comment below to let me know what home improvement you would do if money was no object?
My answer would be to say that I would add a huge conservatory at the back of my house and turn it into a playroom for the kids, in fact my first stop at the Ideal Home Show would be the Everest Windows stand to find out how much my dream is going to set me back
The competition closes at midnight on 5 March and I’ll use the random number generator to choose a winner shortly afterwards. Please, please leave a way for me to contact you in your comment to make sure that I can let you know that you’ve won.

I would replace the wall in our living room with 4.5meter Bi-folding doors which would open up onto a new deck. Then I would landscape the garden having a tranquil zen theme with a beautiful, natural water feature and white stones which would be complimented with a selection of acer and Japanese trees… Bliss
If money was no object then we would add a loft room for the kids as a secret hideaway with maybe a slide to come down stairs – they would love it.
If I had the money, I would double glaze all the sash windows in my flat. The lounge, kitchen and bedroom windows are 14 feet high so lovely and bright but draughty in the Winter.
I would buy the most extravagant version of one of those lovely aquariums which I lusted after at last years ideal home show so as to bring some serenity into our living room. In fact I may buy a small version if I win a ticket to the show from you this year! So please contact me! Heres hoping.
I love the ideal home show. I always come away with far fetched home improvement ideas. If money were no object i would make the ground floor open plan with a massive glass extension into the garden, install a sauna (somewhere!) and get the garden landscaped…too much??
loft conversion and ground floor extension.
I would love to go to get some new ideas

very good post! need to say you did a great job and i really appreciate it!
I have always wanted to go to the ideal home exhibition and never been able to so maybe this year is for me! Email address is jenniemoore61@yahoo.co.uk Thanks v much
Would love to win a ticket! If money was no object I would go up into our loft so we could have a 3rd bedroom (so we could have another child) and (here's just me hoping) a craft room/office. As we are in a coach house it's impossible to do much else to it! Although would love to magically extend my pathetically sized kitchen!
