Homemade Nutella Cookies….

When I found out that the lovely Notsosinglemum was holding a Nutella Carnival I realised I had two choices.  I could make the Slimming World version of Ferrero Rocher that she so kindly e mailed me about or should I go wild and make  the homemade Nutella cookies recipe that I’ve been dying to try out.

You would think I went for the Slimming World recipe wouldn’t you seeing as I am taking part in notSupermum’s Big Momma Challenge, however, you would be wrong!  My entry to the Nutella Carnival is homemade Nutella Cookies:

Ingredients
3 1/2 tablespoons of Nutella
50g sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
50g butter
1 egg
125g self raising flour

Mix together the Nutella, sugar and butter until the mixture looks, for want of a better word, mixed ;-)

Add the egg and flour and stir together until it’s firm(ish).

Spoon into small piles on a baking tray making sure that you keep them quite far apart as they do tend to spread and there’s been times when I’ve took my cookies out of the oven in the past and found one giant cookie instead as they’d spread out so much.

Bake for about 10 – 15 minutes.

They smell and taste gorgeous – the kids are on their second each and I’m not sure if there’ll be any left when Mr Frugal gets home from work tonight!
