I hope the snow doesn’t last much longer – I am running out of things to keep the kids entertained….
I made a ‘Wish Book’ with Miss Frugal today (Master Frugal was quite happy on the Wii). We cut out about 12 circles out of coloured card and Miss Frugal wrote a different wish on each of them – all things that she wants to do or places that she wants to go to.
She spent ages thinking about each wish and carefully wrote each one down. After we had done about 10 we punched a hole in each one and tied them together with some ribbon.
Some of the things she wrote down were:
- I would like to go horse riding
- Paint a special picture
- Go to the park
- Visit the beach
- Learn to take photos good
- Build an igloo
- Go to the zoo
- Go to Disneyland
- Make ice pops
- Go to the Wacky Warehouse
Apart from the igloo and Disneyland, I think we can manage everything else.
It was good to do as we sat together and talked about what she wanted to do and what she enjoyed doing. Now we have a nice list of things to do together over the next few weeks (months).
She keeps asking me when we are going to 'do her wishes' though…. Might pick the easiest one and do it today to keep her quiet lol

That's a cute idea. We did something similar with strips of paper, folded them all up and put them in a jar. I can't remember on what occasion we took one out, but it will be quite an occasion for Miss Frugal when a wish comes true.
