A Frugal Fondue….

I found a huge bar of chocolate in the cupboard on Friday night and I was sooooo tempted to eat it – which wouldn’t have helped my diet in any way!

After sitting and staring at it (whilst drooling) for a while wondering if a big bar of dairy milk was worth breaking my diet over, I decided to melt it down and make a frugal family style fondue. I didn’t do anything fancy, I just melted the chocolate in the microwave and chopped up some fruit. Arm the kids with a fork each and you have two happy little people.

Funnily enough we went shopping yesterday and saw a Cadbury’s chocolate fondue set for £15.99 which I really wanted to buy but the kids said there was no point as my version was gorgeous!

And by the way…. I would love to say that I have iron willpower and didn’t have any but I would be lying lol. Surely it can’t be that bad, it was fruit that I was dipping in the chocolate after all ;-)
