Miss Frugal is very into my laptop at the moment as she got a pink diamante studded mouse for Christmas with a Bratz doll. The doll itself was very strange and comes with several interchangeable heads but thats another story.
Anyway, she loves to play on here but as she is only seven she only goes on the sites that I bring up for her (dreading when she gets a bit older and wants to do it herself) and we generally look at them together but…… We are both getting a bit bored of CBeebies which used to be her favourite and I am struggling to find new sites that are suitable for her and easy for her to understand and navigate around.
We have just registered her with First News which is the supporting website for the First News childrens newspaper. You don’t have to subscribe to the newspaper to use the site (although the newspaper does look good too) and there are news articles relevant to children, competitions and games and sections where you can submit your own articles, reviews and jokes. We responded to a poll last night (just a one clicky thing) to say what Miss Frugal’s favourite Christmas song was and her name and selection appeared underneath the poll – well you would have thought she had just been awarded an Oscar or something, she thinks she’s famous now!
So that’s one site but I am on the lookout for others so if anyone knows of any that we might like then please let me know…. If I find any I will add them on to this post.

I'll have to check those out, thanks.
I am dreading when Miss Frugal doens't need me to help her on the internet anymore. I will probaby be sat next to her whenever she's on line until she is about 21 lol.
nickjr and disney both have good games and are worth a look. K (6) is also obsessed with a game called moshi monsters but you need to link up with "friends" to get the best out of it (which I have banned her from doing – paranoid moi?)
Thanks for that – we have just played firework mini golf on http://www.yogabbagabba.com. Both kids loved it (me too lol).
The Bratz doll makes me think of some sort of horror film as they are quite hard to get off and you really have to hold the doll's body and yank the head hard – very strange!
K is only 5 months but seems interested in my computer (probably as she sees me on it so often!)
I love Yo Gabba Gabba, it has loads of songs and games with cool retro illustrations.
The interchangable head Bratz reminds me of Worzel Gummage!
