We’ve been really lucky so far this Winter as the weather has been much milder than usual which has meant lots more outdoor fun than we’d normally have at this time of year. But if the weather forecasts are to be believed then our run of mild weather is about to come to an abrupt end with the current rain that we’re seeing turning into icy showers and then possibly snow.
Whilst we’re not too bothered by the change in weather, there are people who will be dreading it because as the mercury drops their asthma, rhinitis and other allergies hit them full force. I had no idea that there were so many things that can be triggered by the change in temperature but I do know that there are lots of triggers to be found in our own homes.
The infographic below created by uHoo shows you why you might get these attacks, their most common triggers and easy ways to help prevent them from happening.
The infographic above is a good start to being more informed but do check out uHoo to learn more about how you can reduce allergens at home and help prevent anyone in your family from getting an asthma, rhinitis or allergy attack. Also get a chance to win a uHoo by joining this giveaway!
The giveaway is running until February (you can find out all about the Ts and Cs by popping over to the giveaway page) and is open to you wherever you are in the world. There’s weekly prizes of Amazon gift certificates (worth $50) and one winner will win a uHoo worth $299.
